Reading
Please make sure you read for 15 minutes.
Re-read the poem ‘Nature Trail’, using your pairs of rhyming words from yesterday can you write your own verse to the poem using different animals and plants you might find in the garden. Try to use the same rhyming pattern as Benjamin Zephaniah and make it sound like his verses.
Writing
I have added in the answers for yesterday’s apostrophe challenge, well done for having a good go!
We are looking again at apostrophes but this time as singular or plurals.
Sometimes it is a singular object or thing that has something belonging to them, sometimes it is a group of objects. You need to spot if it is a group of objects or one object to show where the apostrophe will go.
For example:
· The lions’ manes (plural)
· Jonathon’s football (singular)
