MEDICINES

We are able to administer certain medicines in school. In order for us to do this, parents need to complete the relevant consent forms.

Please read our Parents’ Guide to our Administering Medicines Policy for more information.

Children with epipens may store them in the school office or classroom for access when required. All medicines should be brought into school by an adult and be stored in clear plastic containers, clearly marked with their name and class details, and held in the school office.

The children should bring no other medicines, throat sweets, or ointments of any kind to the school. Please do not send your child to school if they are unwell.

The school nurse can be consulted on any issue relating to the health of children, via the Headteacher or the School Office.
