Robins have started their new topic! They will be learning all about themselves. We started by painting portraits... what do you think?
New Robins!
Miss Hall and Mrs Moreton have been super busy visiting all the new Robins at their homes. They’ve had fun spotting welcome balloons!
Ugly Bug Ball -
What a buzzing day it has been! The Robins have transformed into mini-beasts and attended our 'Ugly Bug Ball' today to finish our topic. They dressed up as butterflies, spiders and even a stag beetle. Then they got to make bug biscuits, play mini-beast party games (sleeping worms!) and finish with an insect picnic. Have a look at our day...
On the coach...here we go!
Robins are on the way to their trip and are trying. To spot different things out the window. I wonder what we will get up to today!
You won't beelieve it... we are now learning about BUGS!
Today Robin's started their new topic 'minibeasts'! Their first job was to go bug hunting. Which insects do you think they found?
BANG... the volcano has exploded!
Today we did an experiment with the volcano. We made it erupt!
Did you volcano's were around when dinosaurs were?
Robins become archaeologists!
Today we made fossils using flour, sand, coffee and water. We then used the toy dinosaurs to make imprints. We are still hoping to trick that naughty missing dinosaur!
A quarter full, half full, full........ROAR!
Today's maths was all about capacity. Hopefully this potion will do the trick and hatch our dinosaur egg!
Roar Outside Learning!
Today Robin's went outside and made stick dinosaurs as part of our topic. It was dino-tastic!
Maths that will make you go ROAR!
The Robins used their shoes to see how big the dinosaur footprint was. They found out that it took 30 shoes!
Dinosaur Update!
We have come in this morning and a huge dinosaur footprint has been left by the egg!
