Fundraising

Schools are expensive places to run and maintain and the budgets we operate within are tight. Through PAKSA, we have a fantastic amount of fundraising activity throughout the year, which helps pay for additional resources to enhance the children’s learning and fun at school.

We have also launched a donations scheme, BOOST! whereby you, as parents, can make ongoing or one-off financial donations to the school.

Helping with BOOST!

BOOST! is a scheme that invites parents, carers (and the Tax Man!) to provide a regular contribution to the school. Payments can be made through one-off donations or with regular giving, for every pound you give we get an extra 25% with gift aid.

The benefits of BOOST!

  1. It allows us to plan additional facilities and even better experiences for Plaistow and Kirdford Primary School children.

  2. It ensures that the Tax Man also does his bit for Plaistow and Kirdford. By signing up to Gift Aid,we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate.

  3. It provides an alternative opportunity for parents and carers to contribute to the school, even if a lack of time (or global pandemic!!) prevents involvement in other fundraising activities.

It’s really easy to sign up to BOOST!

There are two options you can choose from:

  1. OPTION 1 – Monthly Standing Order (preferred option) straight into the School Fund

  2. OPTION 2 – Annual Donation via ParentPay into the School Fund

OPTION 1 – Monthly Standing Order

  1. Preferred option – as it means we don’t have to pay admin fees to ParentPay, so ALL of your BOOST! goes straight to benefit the children.

  2. Decide what amount you would like to donate. Could you offer a gift of £1, £2, £5 (or any amount you wish) each month? Remember it will be worth 25% more to the school if you can Gift Aid it too!

  3. Log on to your online banking, or contact your bank to request a monthly standing order of your chosen amount to go to Plaistow and Kirdford Primary School (PKPS)

    This reference allows us to identify your gift and match it up to your Gift Aid registration (if applicable).

OPTION 2 – Annual Payment via ParentPay

If you would rather provide an annual Boost via ParentPay, all you need to do is:

  1. Log on to your ParentPay account.

  2. Find the line item for either ‘PKPS BOOST with Gift Aid’ or ‘PKPS BOOST without Gift Aid’.

  3. Enter the amount of your annual BOOST!.

  4. Fill in the accompanying Gift Aid registration (if you qualify) and return it to the school office. We CANNOT claim Gift Aid without this form.

  5. Finally, sit back and feel good about the difference you are making to your children’s school.
